Ah, sorry I didn't know about the 90 sec limit. You can post videos of up to 10 mins on YouTube and limit who sees them but I think they have to sign up for an account. It is free though.

Not sure how you would set up a live link. Maybe someone else will be able to answer that!

Thanks, I did just ck out Flikr.com tho it seems to have a 90 sec time limit on videos. I'm assuming that a live link isn't that easy to do. Some people use Skype and webcam to talk back and forth and see each other. It's good for people who are stuck at home tho they need to be computer wise.

I've never done it Jean but I don't think it would be particularly difficult and it wouldn't have to cost anything.

You would need to position a laptop and webcam to record the service (or use a video camera)and then upload the video to a sharing site e.g. Flickr. You would then give people a link to the video on the site to enable them to view it.

Have a look at http://www.flickr.com/explore/video/ for more information about sharing videos on Flickr.

Good luck with it!

Hi Sybil

If you put your mouse pointer on the bar at the top of the front window and hold your left mouse button down, you will be able to drag it away from the other window to enable you to see both at the same time.

The Guides are short documents that explain how to use the Internet for various things.
You can read them on the website, or print them for reference.
Click on the links at the left of the screen to see more details.

Hi Sybil,

The easiest way to do this is to open two windows, one of My Pictures and one of My Computer. Arrange them on the screen so you can see them both at the same time (e.g. side by side). Navigate the My Computer window to the CD drive where your pictures are. Navigate the other one to the folder where you intend to put the pictures (creating a new folder for them if necessary).

Then select the required pictures on the CD (you can select them all with Control-A) and drag them to the target folder in the other window.

Once the pictures have been copied to your hard drive, you can edit them, etc, as you wish.

I think you need someone to speak to you about this. Can you please telephone us on 0800 822 3951 and give us a telephone number and the first part of your postcode so someone can contact you.

Hi Diana,

Email applications vary in the exact way that they attach photos, but broadly speaking the way to do it is to create a new message and then click on the "attach" button. This will take you to a "browse" window what allows you to navigate to the folder where you have stored the picture(s) you want to send.

Select the picture you want to attach to the message and click on the 'OK' or 'open' button.

The filename of the picture should then appear in the header at the top of the message.

Try sending one or two pictures to your own email address if you want to test the method! Good luck...

I use a free software program called Ccleaner. You have the options of checking a whole list of items to get rid of - and I check the whole lot apart from the clear Free Space option. Plus there is a Registry Cleaner which clears away all those old files left behind when you uninstall programs. It knows all the programs on your computer, and you can delete unwanted programs directly from there. I've used it for a few years now, and never had any problems: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner
