Why do I now have message saying ‘You
are offline’, when actually I am connected online?
Each time, I have to go to favourites, and clik ‘add offline’….WHY?

Hi Derek,
Which application is the “offline” status message coming from?
Outlook Express can be used in offline mode – it’s a relic from when people used dial-up connections for email and it allowed you to read messages and compose emails offline without running up connection charges. It’s not used if you have always-on broadband.
If you used to be on dial-up but have changed to broadband, the old dial-up software may still be present and could be sending the message, since it would detect that the dial-up modem is inactive.
If you could provide more detail it would be helpful to diagnose the problem.
