photo's

I have picasa 3 installed. when I try to upload pics to facebook,I go through the prompts, it scans for quite a while and when i go to see the result. nothing! what can be the problem please, can you help?

    Hi Matthew

    Have you been able to upload any pictures to Facebook using the Picasa uploader?
    Have you tried uploading a single photo?

    I installed the uploader (version 2) and was able to upload to Facebook, although not all the photos were transferred the first time I tried and I had to re-upload some of them.

    Apparently Facebook limits the number of photos that can be added as an album from third party software to 60. So, if you need to load more it’s best to upload in batches and reorganise the photos in Facebook.

    Have you tried reinstalling Picasa and the Facebook uploader?

    The FAQs page for the plugin is here: http://apps.facebook.com/picasauploader/faq.php and contains instructions on how to it can be removed.

    got your reply, will try it out when I feel a bit braver, not sure about how to reinstall facebook uploader, it will probably lead me through it when I start. will I lose my stored pics on Picasa?

    I followed the link you gave me, didn’t have to uninstall Picasa! had some success, thanks, but I think that Picasa is a bit tempramental. But you have put me on the right track.

    A very big THANK YOU I eventually plucked up the courage,reinstalled Picasa,and got my photo uploaded to the facebook profile. I don’t know how you figure these things out!
