Ripping CDs into Media Player
When I try to rip some CDs into Media Player Library I get the message “The file you are attempting to play has an extension (.) that does not match the file format.” These CDs are some years old. An ABBA CD ripped with no problem.
How do I get the others to do the same ?

Hmm, if it thinks there’s a file extension this suggests it’s a data CD rather than an audio CD ?

Thanks a lot Phil. The discs are all music + vocal, but oddly I had another go with a couple of opera CDs and hey presto! Perhaps Media Player is fussy! I have more to do yet so will keep your suggestion in mind-just in case.
